My artworks go beyond merely depicting plants; it is an on-going journey into self-reflection centered on how to break free from the control of emotion within an intimate relationship. Frequently being affected mentally, I am envious of life forms that won't suffer from mental impacts. Plants, with their ability to thrive without emotional or psychological disturbances, offer me a sense of relief and calmness for my mind.

I do not choose specific plant species. Instead, I rely on my instincts to focus more on their temperament, allowing the diversity of plants to unfold naturally without limitations or definitions. Largely using dark colors, such as sap green and navy blue, my current paintings capture fragility and vulnerability of both myself and plants through the fluid application of paint on canvas. As my exploration develops, I also seek the resilience within at the same time, with brighter palettes and more expanding compositions, releasing the former ambiguous tension.

In my paintings, multiple perspectives and layers overlap and collide, revealing the interweaving of humans and non-humans, the symbiotic relationships between all existing elements and myself. Therefore, choosing plants is also a reflection of my current mind state - I perceive myself as a plant, uncontrolled, unlabeled, and enjoying the spontaneity that everything brings to me.
