In August, I participated in the group exhibition The Secret Garden in Shenzhen, China, curated by 11 Contemporary Art Center. The exhibition featured ten artists: Hugo Capron, Yiwen Hu, Ying Xu, Oleksii Shcherbak, Alessandro Miotti, Tomas Jetela, Mengjia Zhao, James Watkins, Xinyi Qin, and Celia Lees. The selected works, spanning painting, photography, and installations, focused on the connection between human and the environment. Through unique visual expressions, the artists sought to capture the invisible threads linking the inner universe of individuals to the surrounding world, blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination. The exhibition aimed to explore the connection between objective factors and cognitive perception, bridging the subconscious gaps of non-neutral relationships, and contemplating metaphors of human nature and the spread of life.
