State of Being is curated by Xuan Hew and brings together 6 international artists, Jiaxuan Liang, Shuwen Wang, Xinyi Qin, Xuan Hew, Yuxuan Hou, Ziqi Chen, who are nearing the completion of their master's studies in MA Painting. This exhibition delves deep into their shared experiences as international students and diverse interpretations of landscape art. This exhibition is born from a desire to strengthen the bonds within their current community, before they inevitably part ways, serving as an attempt to bring people together one last time. Through this exhibition, they hope to create connections that linger long after their academic journey ends, allowing themto drift apart more slowly. State of Being also reflects the artists' current state of confusion as they approach the end of their chapter as a student.
